This piece started off with base human head mesh in mudbox, I then brought into 3ds max for hair and rendered with mental ray but i'm not satisfied with hair colour. Most of all the time for this piece i focus on texturing, trying to make realistic human face with diffuse, normal, AO, displacement, epidermal, and specular map.
